Polish dancer, Woizikovsky studied at the Warsaw Imperial Ballet School and with Cecchetti. He joined the Ballets Russes in 1916 and became one of its outstanding character dancers. Alongside Sokolova, he created roles in Massine’s Boutique Fantasque (1919) and Les Matelots (1925) and in Nijinska’s Les Noces (1923) and Les Biches and Le Train bleu (1924). He joined Pavlova’s company, 1929-31, and the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo, 1932-4. His own company toured Europe, 1935-6.
